Who we are

Living Workspace was founded by Michael Trask in 2005. Michael retired in 2024 and passed the torch to his successor, Bhumika, along with long term employee Jessica. Together, Bhumika and Jessica are working towards an even bigger future for Living Workspace. We’ve taken what Michael built and kept all the things that work well, whilst adapting to the changing landscape of an increasingly virtual world.

It is important to us that we retain the exceptional customer experience that our clients have enjoyed throughout Living Workspace history, and continue working hard to make this experience even better. Our goal is to create a space where business owners feel supported, empowered, and confident.

We’ve been a pillar of the Norwest business community for almost 20 years. In this time, many similar businesses have come and gone, but we stay strong. Our ability to adapt, pivot, and listen have given us the edge and staying power to continue. We’ve weathered the GFC, COVID, and a change of ownership due to our founder retiring. With over 15 years of professional experience, I specialize in delivering high-quality solutions with a keen eye for detail. My passion for creating exceptional customer experiences, makes Living Workspace a safe, professional workplace for the small business owner or remote corporate worker.

Throughout my career, I’ve focused on the details that make a big impact, helping businesses grow and also build lasting relationships with their customers.

Operations and Support Administrator

Before joining the team, I spent years running my own small business and managing my Mum’s e-commerce store. That experience taught me everything from website design and marketing to bookkeeping and customer care. I’ve always had a deep curiosity and drive to learn, and I bring that same energy and attention to detail into my work here at Living Workspace.

What I love most about my role is the variety – no two days are the same. Whether it’s helping a new client settle in or refining a behind-the-scenes process, I enjoy making things run more smoothly for everyone. I genuinely care about the people I work with and support, and I want every client to feel welcome, supported, and valued.

On a personal note, I’m a local mum of three (now all in high school or beyond), and a bit of a recovering perfectionist who’s learned – actually… still learning! – that done is often better than perfect. I love a good system, a clear process, and a friendly chat at the front desk.
