Is the Dedicated Desk a hot desk?
No. Your desk is reserved exclusively for you during your booking, so you do not need to find an available seat when you arrive. It is a semi-private workspace rather than a casual open-plan hot desk.
Is the desk exclusively mine?
Yes. The Dedicated Desk is reserved exclusively for you throughout your booked period. Outside those dates or times, it may be available for another client.
How do I book a Dedicated Desk?
Simply click “Book Now” to reserve your desk for a day or week. For longer arrangements, contact us directly and we’ll confirm availability and set everything up for you.
What is included with the booking?
Your booking includes a clean, semi-private desk reserved exclusively for you, Wi-Fi, a chair, power board, and monitor. You’ll also have access to the shared kitchen, including the kettle, coffee machine, microwave, fridge and crockery, along with complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits.
Printing and scanning may be available on request, with additional fees applying where relevant.
What should I bring?
Bring your laptop or device, charger, and anything else you need for your work. Power and Wi-Fi are ready when you arrive.
Can I take phone or video calls?
Yes. The environment is professional and generally quiet. Phone and video calls are welcome, we simply ask that volumes remain moderate out of courtesy to others.
What are the access hours?
Access is available from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. Reception is staffed from 10:00am to 2:00pm, though you may arrive or leave at any time within the standard access hours.
Can I access the space after hours or on weekends?
After-hours or weekend access may be arranged in advance using a building access fob. A refundable deposit applies. Please contact us before your booking so we can confirm the arrangements.
What about parking?
Untimed street parking is available along Solent Circuit and nearby streets, usually within a five-to-ten-minute walk. We recommend allowing extra time and avoiding short-term parking near the shops or visitor bays, as these areas are regularly patrolled and fines may apply.
Norwest Metro Station is also around a five-minute walk from the building.
